The market for top Graduates is incredibly competitive, with recruiting companies aggressively seeking the “best in class”. This means that the best talent is often snapped up shortly after graduation.

 

MPS TECH offer a talent seeking solution which head hunts the best potential candidates long before they finish their degrees. We identify strong candidates during their studies and work with them to identify potential roles for them in the future. Our service provides employers with an opportunity to get ahead of the competition and additional motivation for the graduates to excel.

 

We have devised a cost effective solution that provides employers with a structured route to securing the very best talent.

 

 

The Process:

 

 

STEP1 - REQUIREMENTS: The Employer determines what its future graduate needs will be and provides MPS TECH with job specifications.

 

STEP 2 - ROLE DEFINITION: MPS TECH works with the employer to determine the Graduate selection criteria and focuses on establishing the following key target areas:

 

-Specific courses and Universities Expected class of degree (2.1, 1st, etc.)

-Particular areas of expertise & interest

-Specific modules in which the graduate should excel

-Desired soft skills (communication, confidence, dynamism, presentation

 abilities, etc)

-Desired career aspirations & key motivators

-Any additional requirements

 

STEP 3 - SEARCH: Following agreement of the selection criteria, MPS TECH starts the search for suitable candidates. We approach specific Universities and departments and speak directly to: Lecturers; Heads of Department; the Careers Centre and Students on site; and advertise to the graduates directly. We also attend onsite departmental careers networking events and encourage peer referrals.

 

STEP 4 - SHORTLIST: Once we have generated a pool of potential candidates, we interview them formally in line with the original selection criteria and job specification.  The result for the employer is a shortlist of candidates recommended for interview.

 

STEP 5 - INTERVIEW: At this point the employer takes over the interview process.

 

STEP 6 - OFFER: Any formal job offers are made on the proviso that the candidate achieves the necessary grades outlined by the employer. A contract of intent to employee is issued.

 

STEP 7 - START DATE: Once graduated and all conditions have been met the candidate is set to start their employment with the employer on an agreed date.

Fees:

 

Cost per individual recruitment drive: £4,500 + VAT, split across three payments, at different stages of the process:

 

       £1,000 + VAT - At 'Definition' stage

       £1,000 + VAT - At 'Offer' stage

       £2,500 + VAT - When candidate starts

              

 

Please note: In the unlikely scenario the offered candidate does not start following the 'Offer’ stage, we will refund 50% of the 2nd stage payment and will  we revisit the search and generate additional candidates for consideration. The 50% will only be recharged once we have sourced a starting candidate.
